Job Summary

The Lead FX plays a pivotal role within the show, responsible for managing sequences and overseeing the artists assigned to those sequences. As a key member of the leadership team, they contribute significantly to defining the quality and style of the show, working closely with the Effects Supervisor to achieve creative goals. Moreover, effective communication and collaboration with the pipeline team to address and resolve pipeline issues are integral aspects of this role.

**Responsibilities**:
**Qualifications**:

- Degree/diploma in fine arts or animation or equivalent experience - A minimum of 4 years production experience in film or television effects - Thorough knowledge of 3D effects and simulation techniques - Working knowledge of Houdini - Compositing experience is a big plus - Experience programming Vex is a plus - Able to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas - Able to follow directions well - Able to multi-task and prioritize - Able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment - Enjoy working in teams This job description is not meant to be all inclusive.
