At Tipsy Trivia, we're all about creating memorable moments, fostering laughter, and igniting friendly competition through interactive and engaging trivia events. We combine trivia with music and movies, creating a unique, relaxed environment filled with fun. We're excited to announce that due to our rapid expansion and the addition of many new locations, we're looking for charismatic, outgoing individuals with a love for trivia, music, and movies to join our team as Trivia Event Hosts. If you have previous hosting, improv, or performance experience, this is your chance to channel your inner entertainer, earn extra income, and bring the magic of our trivia nights to life, all while creating unforgettable experiences for our audience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and interact with trivia participants, bar patrons, and venue staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Deliver pre-curated trivia, music bingo, and name-that-tune content, maintaining an engaging and lively environment.
- Manage the flow of the event, including marking answer sheets, explaining rules, and managing time.
- Promote upcoming events and restaurant/bar specials.
- Use our software for participant check-ins and event management.
- Complete minor administrative tasks during and after the event.
- Communicate effectively with your team lead before, during, and after the event (smartphone required).
- Promote Tipsy Trivia events on social media to increase visibility and audience engagement.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with PCs, microphones, and smart TVs.
- Arrive at the venue ahead of the scheduled event start time (reliable transportation and excellent time management skills are a must).

Basic Qualifications:

- Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Passion for trivia, music, and movies.
- Organized, dependable, and punctual.
- Sales and marketing experience, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous hosting, improv, or performance experience.
- Prior experience in roles requiring audience engagement (such as an online live event host, radio host, emcee, tour guide, stand-up comedian, etc.).
- Comfort with using technology and the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
