Toronto, Canada Halcyon Cafe Full time

Halcyon Café is seeking a passionate, hard-working, friendly individual to join our team as a Part-Time Barista. We are a café and wine bar specializing in third-wave coffee, handcrafted café beverages, and a large selection of organic, biodynamic, and natural wines. We share a space with Bello Pizza, and as such our staff also provide pizza service support. **Responsibilities**:

- Operating and taking orders using Square POS
- Maintain cleanliness of physical workspace and following all sanitation protocols throughout shift
- Operating espresso machine and café equipment to prepare specialty drinks
- Greeting guests, bussing tables, and running café dishes
- Learning about and selling wine from our collection of organic, biodynamic, and natural wines for dine-in and take-away
- Processing take-away phone orders and dine-in orders and communicating all orders to kitchen staff (supporting Bello Pizza)
- Performs other duties as required or assigned

**Requirements**:

- Smart Serve Certification required
- Barista experience an asset
- Food Handlers Certification an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-25 per week

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.00 per hour
