Accounting Clerk to handle a high volume of full cycle Accounts Payable in a fast-paced environment.

The Accounting Clerk interacts on a regular basis with Management and our external vendors as well as other internal departments to integrate solutions that meet the company’s goals both financially and operationally.

Additional responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk as follows:

- Focus on AP - ensure all invoices are reviewed, entered and processed with accuracy
- Understand, manage the subcontractor invoice process
- Set up and maintain vendors in the accounting system
- Ensure transactions are timely and accurate
- Reconcile & monitor balances and maintain records
- Respond to vendor/internal inquiries and research to resolve concerns/discrepancies
- Set the standards for delivering high customer service and lead by example
- Perform work under limited supervision
- Training junior team members where required
- Issuing PO’s & MPO’s
- Office Management & taking on tasks as required to support admin/finance team

Qualifications:

- 6 months to 1 years experience in accounting is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Accounts Payable, QuickBooks and Excel required
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication/organization skills and attention to detail are a must
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to identify and research necessary information
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions in fast paced environment

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
