**Job definition**:
Under the supervision of the Production manager, the CNC Machinist is responsible to perform simple machining operations with using a Lathe or Milling machine.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate and setup CNC machines;
- Loading and unloading of materials;
- Read and interpret work instructions from blueprints, manufacturing process sheets etc.;
- Loading of program into CNC machine;
- Monitor operating of the machine to ensure proper program performance;
- Ensure machining of simple parts as per specifications;
- Verify conformity of machined parts using instruments such as micrometers and calipers;
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery;
**Job qualifications**
- Technical/Vocational diploma in CNC machining, or any other training and experience deemed equivalent;
- Minimum experience of 1 year preferred;
- Bilingual (French and English - Ability to ready and interpret English work instructions)
- Understanding of basic operations on CNC machines
- Available to work on an Evening or Night shift
- Evening shift: 3h30pm to 11h30pm - Additional 1$ premium per hour
- Night shift: 11h30pm to 07h30am - Additional 2$ premium per hour

**Experience required**: Minimum 1 year

**Education level**: Vocational diploma in Machining

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
