As a CNC Operator, your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with various types of CNC equipment, such as mills or lathes, to fabricate products according to specifications and production requirements.
- CNC Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to perform machining operations based on provided specifications, blueprints, and work orders;
- Tooling and Workpiece Preparation: Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and workpieces, and ensure they are properly positioned and secured on the CNC machine;
- Program Loading and Tool Setting: Load and verify CNC programs, adjust machine settings, and perform tool changes as required for different machining operations;
- Quality Control: Monitor and inspect machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, making necessary adjustments when deviations occur;
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement. Identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions and collaborate with maintenance technicians for repairs;
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including job setups, tooling changes, and inspection results. Report any production or quality issues to supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training in CNC machining is preferred;
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar machining role within a manufacturing environment;
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications;
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, for quality inspection;
- Bilingual French and English: Ability to read and interpret English work instructions
