You will operate one of our well-maintained units to safety transport and dump materials, such as sand, aggregates, gravel, asphalt.

Haul and deliver materials to and from specified locations and job sites including loading and unloading in designated areas.

Responsibilities**:Communicates well with dispatch to organize, hauls materials safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed, and observes all haulage.**

Performs walk-around pre-trip safety inspections. Identifies safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and areas where safety can be improved.

**Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors and customers.**

**Qualifications**Valid Class 1 Drivers License.

**Main Duties**:Operate Dump Truck to transport materials from Pits to Jobsites

**Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection**Follow all procedures to ensure a safe work environment

**Perform basic emergency repairs as required**Keep accurate records regarding loads, mileage, and fuel usage

**Maintain logbook as required Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract) Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**:Physically demanding, long hours, extended periods of sitting.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- truck driver: 1 year (required)
- class a cdl: 1 year (required)
