Journeyman Carpenter

**Job Overview**
Are you a Journeyman Carpenter who enjoys variety and has experience in all aspects of renovation carpentry? You might be the right fit for our team We are seeking a Red Seal Carpenter to join us at EJ Installations. We specialize in residential and commercial renovations in Parksville, Qualicum, Nanaimo, & surrounding areas.

You will be working as part of a small crew on a wide range of projects, including small to medium sized residential & commercial. We are looking for a team member who will contribute their skill and attention to our projects and will seek to meet our standards for quality workmanship while following safety rules.

**Duties**
- Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and drywall.
- Perform concrete forming for foundations and other structures.
- Build components according to specifications and drawings.
- Install flooring materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
- Assemble & install cabinets.
- Install windows, doors, & trim.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Experience**
- Certified Red Seal Carpenter, with experience in all aspects of renovation carpentry
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Hardworking & motivated.
- Valid drivers' license & reliable source of transportation required to drive to various jobsites, as needed.

Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
