**Summary**

A prep cook assists with preparation of raw food items, preparing ingredients for use in various concessions and restaurants. They will help ensure that food quality and presentation is maintained and assist in keeping track of stock, inventory and par levels. Centreville Amusement Park is a fantastic place for anyone who is looking for a workplace that is in an outdoors environment. We are company that wants our employees to succeed and have fun, by hosting staff BBQs, Semi Formal at the end of the season and we also have a ferry pass that allows employees to get to and from work and that can also be used at other attractions in Ontario.

**Job Duties**
- Assists with food production of raw materials as assigned.
- Prepare food items for use in the concessions.
- Monitor food production levels and maintain par levels.
- Clean all food handling stations, food storage areas, and dishwashing area as assigned.
- Removes all garbage and recycling and from kitchen, sterilizing room, food storage area as assigned
- Proper rotation of raw materials using the FIFO method (First In - First Out)
- Maintain walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed

**Requirements**:

- Have a cheerful personality and positive attitude
- Maintain good relationship with everyone
- Follow personal and kitchen hygiene
- Have fundamental knowledge in food preparation
- Follow all company protocols and health and safety guidelines
- Eagerness to learn.
- The ability to work well with the team in the kitchen
- Follow personal hygiene and also keep the surrounding clean at all times
- Food Handlers Certificate Preferred

**Compensation**
- Ferry Card Provided
- Uniform Provided

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability
