**Responsibilities**:

- Two aspects - First you would be working to de-manufacture electronics and secondly supporting other aspects of EDI's processing which include, shredding, PCB sorting and depacking.
- Constantly look for things you can do to improve existing processes that will enable us to fulfill our mission statement
- Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Actively participating in meetings and making suggestions for ways to improve our procedures and customer service as well as market our services
- Ensure compliance with the policies laid out in the employee handbook and/or presented by management
- Must wear provided EDI Uniforms at all times, along with ensuring a positive and professional image with proper hygiene.

**Job Requirements**

- Must be able to communicate in an effective, helpful and friendly manner with co-workers and customers
- Must have the ability to listen and take instruction from trainer/warehouse leads regarding dismantling techniques or shredder processes.
- Physical Demands: the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, sit, hear, use hands and fingers, handle, feel and/or life with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to lift 70 pounds or more. All while adhering to safe lift policies.
- EDI employees MUST be polite and respectful while onsite at any EDI facilities or client facilities. Keeping your emotions in check is critical and any mistakes in this area will not be tolerated.

This Job posting is for positions available in the Orillia Area.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
