**Looking for a Video Editor that is proficient in editing and organizing surveillance video for possible court actions.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Capture video from Sony camcorders with the time stamp imbedded
- Edit the video to include only useable evidence in court
- Obtain snapshots from video and paste in surveillance reports
- Create professional videos, HD quality while compressing for the web
- Organize and be able to search and obtain past video clips in a short amount of time

**Qualifications**:

- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Thrives in a fast paced and investigative environment
- Performance driven
- Prior video training an asset
- Takes initiative in being educated on current surveillance video editing techniques
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Passion for video editing and working in a team environment
- Video report writing experience

**Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in various video editing software (Pinnacle 21, Sony Vegas Pro 14, or Adobe Premiere)
- Experience with exporting codecs for the web
- Strong verbal, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience in organizing footage and video assets
- Ability in prioritizing tasks
- Attention to detail, strong time management and multi-tasking

**Must be willing to live on site and work 12 hour days**.
- All travel and accommodation is provided.
- Preference will be given to those with their own video editing laptop.
- Wage stated is based on 7 days at 12 hours a day inclusive of overtime.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: From $2,544.00 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
