**The Opportunity**:
SST is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Project Manager** to work with our clinical affairs and research group. As Project Manager, you will lead and manage all research and clinical analytic initiatives, as well as provide support to our partners at leading healthcare institutions in Canada, the US, and Europe. This role requires a deep understanding of quality and safety in the healthcare space, as well as experience in project management in the health care sector. In this position, you will report directly to the VP of Clinical Affairs and Research, with the potential for the role to evolve based on your skills and initiative.
**Responsibilities**:
- Overseeing all internal projects and initiatives in the Division of Clinical Affairs and Research
- Managing the Surgical Safety Network Working Groups
- Liaising and communicating with key clinical stakeholders at SST's partner institutions
- Working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to drive analytics projects forward.
- Developing processes related to foundational activities in the division of clinical affairs and research
- Setting priorities to ensure milestones and deliverables are completed according to aggressive timelines
- Managing complex schedules, communications, and relationships
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Master's Degree preferred
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably related to project management, healthcare, business administration, or a similar/relevant field)
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience working in the health care sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively analyze problems, interpret needs, and develop creative solutions
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as a team player
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, and find opportunities for continuous improvement
- Aptitude and affinity for computer technology. A quick learner and experienced in using various computer software systems including Adobe, Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence etc.
