**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will work closely with patients in various settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and hospice care environments. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support to residents or patients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document patient care activities accurately and report any changes in health status to nursing staff.
- Engage with residents through conversation and recreational activities to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, hospice care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care protocols and the ability to perform medication administration safely.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting tasks and assist with mobility needs.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- PSW: 1 year (required)
