**Job Summary**:
In the role of Service Support Technician, the primary responsibility is maintaining positive relationships with service technicians and manufacturers for parts identification and problem solving. The Service Support Technician must thrive in an extremely fast paced work environment with high deliverables. This role will report into the Customer Service Manager.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing service orders and determining the required parts
- Verifying and updating accurate part information (serial numbers, models, etc.) for customer accounts
- Picking and staging parts from the main warehouse for service calls
- Liaising with service technicians and manufacturers for technical support calls
- Issuing purchase orders for material and part pick-ups from local suppliers
- Coordinating with Service Technicians in regards to parts ready for pickup for service calls
- Verifying warranty service calls for accuracy
- Sourcing parts from equipment manufacturers, distributors, local suppliers, and fabricators.
- Additional duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years+ of customer service experience
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is an asset
- Technically savvy with the ability to read manufacturer manuals and identify parts
- Customer focused with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to learn new ERP systems quickly
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment with precise attention to detail
- Strong time management, organization and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment is an asset
