How you’ll contribute
As one of our Heat Service Road Technician, you’ll play a key role in servicing our on-site Heating Equipment and keeping our fleet rental ready through:

- Diagnosing, testing, and repairing on-site natural gas, propane, and electric industrial heaters and air conditioners.
- Providing on-site maintenance services including oil changes, filter changes, light replacements, etc.
- Possessing excellent product knowledge and effectively transferring this knowledge to customers. This includes explaining features and benefits, safe operating techniques and promoting related accessories/products.
- Ensuring that every customer is treated in the same fair and consistent manner and resolving issues as they arise.
- Assisting in making decisions related to equipment retirement
- Completing all work orders and related paperwork with respect to the service of equipment in order to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management computer system.
- Following the appropriate checklists and procedures including reading and referring to owner’s manuals and schematics when repairing equipment.
- Maintaining inventory control documents to preserve the integrity of our Rental Management system.
- Operating and testing equipment and, where possible, under actual operating conditions.
- Adhering to and promoting our Company Safety Policies, including wearing required PPE
- Completing other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for
- Minimum 21 years of age
- G Class Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract (valid within the last 90 days)
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
- Heavy Equipment trades and/or G2 Gas certification is a strong asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience servicing heating equipment, construction equipment or experience in a similar background. Apprentices welcome
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge and/or experience with diesel & gas fuel engines and electric/hydraulic systems
