BuildWise Clay Systems is a clay and straw manufacturing shop that create prefab natural wall panels and associated natural clay / lime plasters for houses and other building projects. We are located at an organic farm as natural building and natural farming have always helped each other succeed. It is our common belief that using ancient wisdom to create contemporary buildings and farm practices not only work better, will also enrich the environment for generations to come, which they have always done. We focus as much emphasis on education, learning, and awareness as the final product itself.

**Position - Labourer / Farmhand - F/T or P/T**

We require labourers to manually frame 2x4 wall panels, mix and integrate our clay and straw slurry into these wall panels, and mix natural clay and lime plaster finishes for our various natural building projects. Labourers will also learn and assist with farm duties, farm operations, and the integration of various farming tasks related to building materials. For example, the sheep on the farm supply us with sheep wool for building insulation
- Interested in learning natural construction and natural, organic farming practices
- Physically fit
- Willing to get muddy/dirty/dusty & work both indoors/outdoors, and amongst farm animals
- Have own reliable transportation to shop location at farm / shop
- Capable of following instruction, staying on schedule and working independently
