**The Role**

As a Farm Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of Saunders Farm. Working closely with the Operations Manager and other team members, you will contribute to creating a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for farm visitors. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks that help maintain the farm’s attractions, facilities, and guest services. Site maintenance involving all attractions.
- Fixes and general repairs around the farm
- Ensure that the proper safety equipment is worn and used at all times
- Understand the equipment in each area, and how to fix common problems
- Ensure if anything is broken or not in working order, it is fixed by the correct person in a timely
- manner
- Helping with planting, weeding, and inspections to maintain and ensure a quality crop and harvest
- Upkeep of all mazes, including trimming, upkeep of games and structures inside the mazes
- Be able to lift 50+pounds
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous customer service experience, especially in a fast-paced environment, is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with visitors and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety standards and guest satisfaction.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to contribute to a fun and energetic atmosphere.
