**What will the role entail?**
- Operate skid steer, Moffett forklift, flat deck truck, filter and bulb crusher, and vehicles in mine environment
- Manifest and label hazardous waste containers and prepare it for shipment in accordance with TDG standards
- Monitor inventory levels of products in the laydown
- Gather and empty sanitary and industrial waste and recycling receptacles/materials
- Bulk and properly segregate hazardous waste products, testing products to identify hazards
- Develop and maintain an accurate Safety Data Sheet (SDS) log
- Understand new tasks and follow Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Safe Work Procedure (SWP) and Safe Job Procedure (SJP) as required by assigned tasks
- Complete and submit Near Miss Cards, Nobody Gets Hurt cards and peer to peer observations
- Maintain housekeeping and organization of laydown yard and repair and refurbish waste bins
- Understand and adhere to all Acden and client company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned that fulfill the demands of the role

**What are the job requirements?**
- Valid Class One (1) Licence or Class Three (3) Licence with Airbrake endorsement
- Minimum of three (3) years of operating experience
- 5-year commercial driving abstract that demonstrates a pattern of safe driving behaviour
- Successfully complete a driver’s evaluation on a manual vehicle
- Valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO); or OSSA BSO Certificate, or a combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional certificates
- Roll Off or Front Load Waste Truck experience is a strong asset
- Ability to perform labour intensive duties as required
- Eligible to work on all Acden client sites
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) knowledge and working experience
- Load Securement Experience as per the Alberta Provincial Hours of Service Regulations
- Experience adhering to the Alberta Provincial Hours of Service regulations.
