Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork alongside Labourers operating and maintaining Vacuum trucks, High Pressure Water equipment and various specialty toolsProficient in driving manuals transmissions on commercial vehicles90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the groundWork safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacityClimb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your backEnsure safety for all team members and propertyWork as part of a team and follow direction from supervisionWork outdoors in harsh weather conditionsLearn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipmentComplete required paperwork for projects and jobsChallenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every timeQualificationsValid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years is requiredDriving is in your nature, then passing CEDA’s Driver Assessment in a manual transmission will be a breeze (10, 13 and 18 speed)Prior experience driving a Vacuum Truck is an asset.1+ years of operator experience in an industrial environmentCSO certification requiredH2S Alive, First Aid, Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol testSkillsStrong mechanical aptitude You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipmentPerform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)Additional InformationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
