Our team is committed to ensuring safe and accessible environments for our clients during the winter months. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Snow Plow Drivers to join our team.
Job Summary:
Snow Plow Driver: You will be responsible for operating snow plow trucks and equipment to clear snow from various locations, including roads, parking lots, and driveways. In addition to snow plowing, you will also be responsible for shoveling and salting sidewalks to maintain safe pedestrian access.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate snow plow trucks and equipment to clear snow from designated areas.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snowfall events.
- Shovel and salt sidewalks to maintain safe pedestrian access.
- Inspect and maintain snow plow trucks and equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, time logs / completed tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating snow plow trucks and equipment is preferred.
- Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including shoveling and lifting heavy loads.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility in working hours, as the schedule may vary depending on snowfall events.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
