Family Helper Position

Afternoons 1:45pm to 8pm. Full time OR part time. Every other weekend required. $29/hr.

Assist quadriplegic mother of school aged children in running the household. The goal of this role is to help make her life easier.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving to errands/to & from school
  • Meal prep/baking with recipes
  • Help keep the house tidy and organized
  • Light housekeeping incl. laundry
  • Assist with Morning and evening personal care of highly functioning quadriplegic (Training provided , no certification required)
  • Travel for 2 weeks at a time to warm climate in winter

Please note this is not a PSW position. This is primarily a Family Helper with the main focus on kids.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Passport
  • Currently reside within 30 minutes of Oxford Station
  • Organized and able to work independently
  • Energetic
  • Problem solving skills

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 – 40 per week
