**Nature and Scope**
In this role you will be responsible for researching construction technology and products within the global construction industry, analyzing data, and developing business requirements and proposals based on research findings. The role will require the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions.
**Major Responsibilities**
- Conduct research on technology and products within the global construction industry, including emerging trends, new products, and industry developments.
- Compile research findings into reports, presentations, and other materials that can be used to inform business decisions and strategy.
- Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure that research findings are integrated into overall business strategy and product development efforts.
**Other Responsibilities**
- Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends, and develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape within the construction industry.
- Work with the product and development team to understand the development lifecycle and implementation process for new products
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- 2-5 years of experience in a research, project management or analysis role within the construction industry or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience conducting research and analyzing data to inform business decisions.
- Experience in capturing, analyzing, and illustrating process flows to identify efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of visual tools like Figma, Miro or MS Visio, as well as Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of construction technology and products, with a deep understanding of emerging trends and industry developments is an asset
- Experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes, and work management tools: JIRA, Confluence is an asset
**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or construction management or equivalent
**Effort**
- Work requires light physical exertion, limited visual and/or auditory concentration, manual dexterity and/or strain.
**Working Conditions**
- Incidental or no adverse environmental conditions.
