**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a Research Associate - Analytical Chemistry to work under the supervision of the analytical services director at the adMare Innovation Centre in Montreal. Our analytical services group offers a wide range of services customized to meet client requirements and specifications. We have access to high end equipment such as NMR, UPLC-MS, UPLC-MS/MS, Preparative HPLC-MS, SFC-MS, TGA, FTIR, Karl Fischer, Optical Rotation, etc.
**Responsibilities**:
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform compound certification using some of the following techniques:
- UPLC-MS for purity assessment and mass determination.
- Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
- FTIR.
- NMR.
- Karl Fischer.
- Optical Rotation.
- Manage compound purification workflow.
- Screen conditions and optimize purification conditions.
- Perform both chiral and achiral compound purification.
- Assess post-purification purity.
- Compound lyophilization.
- Instrument maintenance.
**Qualifications**:
- D.C.S. in analytical chemistry or Bachelor in Analytical Chemistry.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Show good organisation skills, precision, meticulousness and problem resolution driven.
- Good capacity to adapt quickly to different situations.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently within a team environment.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with clients.
- Good knowledge of French and English, written and spoken.
