Team Leader/professional Cleaner

Job Overview:

- Driving Licence(Class 5 GDL minimum)
- Must have a personal vehicle
- Must have 1 year cleaning minimum cleaning experience

Team leaders will pick up other team members on the way to daily work locations and will be given a gas allowence.

Work locations change daily, throughout Edmonton and surrounding communities.

We currently have an opening to add ONE team member to our growing business. This position is semi-full time and also on-call(available for last minute cleaning bookings or to cover sick employees) This position can lead to full time and/or overtime in the future if the employee wishes.

Professional Cleaner employee starting wages are $19/hour with a pay raise beginning immediately after the 3 month probation period. All new Professional Cleaner employees who pass the three month probation period will qualify for a raise.

Professional Cleaner employees have the opportunity/possibility of earning up to $25/hour career wages throughout their employment with our company.

Team leader employee starting wages are $19.50/hour. Team leaders go through a 2 part 3 month probation period. If the employee passes Team Leader criteria, the worker will receive an immediate wage after the 3 month probation period. If the employee does 'not' pass Team Leader criteria but 'does' pass basic training criteria, the employee will still retain their position within our company as a professional Cleaner at the same wage as other professional cleaners in the company.

Team Leaders have the opportunity/possibility of earning up to $30/hour throughout their employment with our company.

Most cleaning companies require you to work for them as a 'Sub Contractor', limiting their own work load to make things easier for the company, instead of the worker. This doesn't benefit the worker and is also detrimental to the long term stability of the worker. Subcontractors are not protected under WCB and taxes aren't deducted and sent to the government. This dramatically limits your tax return benefits at the end of the year and also limits your EI and CPP contributions, EXCLUDING YOU from those very important government benefits when your out of work(LAID OFF) and also when you eventually retire. Your also not financially protected in the case of injury at the work place. For example if you injure yourself in the work place and it results in death or a hospital stay or your out of work for awhile, you and your family have absolutely no financial coverage benefits which can ultimately lead to heavy financial consequences in the personal life of the worker and their family. These are benefits and protections that are given to 'employees'. Unlike so many of our competitors, Superior Clean Pro hires personnel under 'proper' employee status. We believe our employees and their long term interests are important and the extra work it takes to make proper deductions and financially invest in WCB insurance for our workers is very much worth it. We also have additional liability insurance that protects you from being sued in the accidental case of severe damage to any of our clients property. **Responsibilities**:

- Team Leaders will help train and supervise other team members.
- Preform duties in various locations around the city and surroundings areas
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Preform cleaning duties such as disinfecting and cleaning all surfaces types
- Preform cleaning duties such as carpet cleaning/upholstery cleaning and interior window washing.
- Preform cleaning duties such as gutter cleaning and exterior window cleaning, sometimes requiring the use of ladders and scaffolding.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, industrial cleaning equipment for cleaning tasks
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned cleaning in proper order/sequence in the allotted time.
- Possess 'great' attention to detail
- Learn safety protocol requirements and at all times follow safety protocols.
- Be available for last minute bookings,
- Car pool with other employees and transport cleaning equipment to various locations.
- Help other team members handle some heavy lifting when
