**Headwater Transportation** is actively seeking a Dispatcher to join our team. We value individuals with heavy haul, pipe hauling, and winch knowledge who can contribute to our operations department and work collaboratively with our dispatch team. The salary for this full-time position will be discussed with the hiring manager based on experience during the interview.
- Work with senior dispatchers.
- Organize, sort, and scan paperwork.
- Send out dispatches to drivers.
- Coordinate truck repairs and services with the maintenance shop.
- Assist in obtaining permits for over-dimensional loads.
- Manage drivers’ time-off requests.
- Ensure drivers are compliant with Hours of Service regulations.
- Track and monitor trailers using the GPS system.
- Plan and schedule routes and tasks for trucks, trailers, and drivers.
- Communicate with customers and drivers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

**Job Requirements**:

- Trucking dispatch experience, including heavy haul, pipe hauling, and winch knowledge.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and plan fleet resources.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance scheduling.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.

**Considered an Asset**:

- Knowledge of border crossings and permits.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
