Deltic Wash Force is a leading car wash equipment and car wash chemical supplier and service company with over 35 years industry experience of providing installation, service, and chemical to car wash operators throughout Ontario. Instrumental to the vitality of our business is the car wash Chemical Division supported by the Chemica Technician role.

**Job Summary**

The Chemical Technician plays a critical role in successful car wash operator relationships. It is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and resolving immediate issues, proactively addressing any potential issues and identifying areas of opportunity. This includes providing professional, expert car wash chemical solutions to our customers, to enable their business to be profitable and leave their customers satisfied with clean, shiny, dry vehicles every wash.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides titration methods for best concentration levels of our car wash chemicals to meet customers specific chemical needs
- Responsible for site chemical conversions & installations, and keeping the customers informed of progress
- Monitors customer levels and responsible for chemical inventory and replenishment orders placed at sites
- Provides on-site customer training
- Analyzes customer outputs and makes recommendations on ways to increase efficiency and wash counts
- Identifies areas of new business opportunities with customers
- Maintains required chemical stock levels in Deltic warehouse
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with chemical supplier
- Maintains a clean driving record
- Ability to work overtime including some evenings and some overnight as required
- Assisting the service and installation team as required

**Requirements**:

- Car Wash experience is preferred but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge & aptitude
- Chemical science and or math background with be an asset
- PLC experience would be an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively within the company and with customers
- Good Microsoft office skills and basic knowledge of a computer
- Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service and support.
- Ability to function with mínimal supervision and work in a team environment.
- Must be a self-starter and be extremely motivated.
- Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to support overnight travel

**Job Details**
- Permanent, Full Time Position
- Hours - Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening work
- Office and warehouse home base in Barrie, Ontario with travel to customer and supplier sites throughout Central, Eastern and Southern Ontario including some overnight travel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
