What to Expect
- The typical hours for this role will be 7:00AM - 4:00PM. Overtime may be required based on department needs.

What You’ll Do
- Display positive attitude and practice strong work ethics that reflect the mission, philosophy, and goals of Tesla.
- Regularly conduct rounds to identify potential safety and compliance issues, identify maintenance interventions, and keep facility operations running efficiently.
- Identify, assess, and report any hazardous conditions to manager.
- Follow safe working practices and make appropriate use of related safety equipment as required. Work according to Tesla’s safety standards and policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for third parties including project managers, contractors, and other relevant vendor representatives.
- Coordinate and supervise vendors and contractors in performing repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of equipment or systems.
- Identify and implement energy and utility conservation measures.
- Work in collaboration with internal departments such as Environmental Health & Safety, Manufacturing, Engineering, etc.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback by thorough record keeping practices.
- Perform equipment repairs and other duties that require no oversight or direction.
- Develop and implement the standard operating procedures (SOPs) programmed for facilities and systems operations.

What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
- Ability to perform physical labor, lifting at least 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in constrained spaces, and work in loud environments.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills along with strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization.
- Demonstrate reliability, initiative, and desire to learn.
- Self-directed and able to work toward specific goals and objectives with limited oversight.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Multitask and adapt to constant change.
- Must understand mechanical and electrical systems and be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
