**About the Role**

We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to shape our future in the Edmonton market. Reporting to the General Manager and Director of Business Development, you’ll be at the forefront of growth—building strategic relationships, expanding our presence, and making a significant impact. **What You’ll Do**

In this role, you’ll do more than just meet sales targets. You’ll partner with branch leadership to craft a growth strategy that resonates across all segments of our business. Here’s a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:

- **Fuel Sales Success**: Drive sustainable growth in the Edmonton market across all branch segments, collaborating with the General Manager to establish performance accountability.
- **Lead the Sales Charge**: Execute our branch’s sales program, refining the sales process and structure, and ensuring every team member is aligned with our goals.
- **Mentor New Talent**: Support, train, and onboard new sales talent, helping them thrive and contribute to our vision.
- **Forge Strong Relationships**: Cultivate lasting relationships with key customers across all segments, ensuring we hit sales budgets, margin targets, and annual goals.
- **Strategize for Growth**: Work hand-in-hand with the Director of Sales/Business Development to identify potential customers and emerging opportunities, transitioning key relationships to the regional level.
- **Stay Sharp & Informed**: Keep a finger on the pulse of market trends, economic indicators, and competitor moves to maintain a competitive edge.
- **Elevate the Team**: Contribute to our collective success by aligning branch and personal targets with company strategies.

**You’ve Got Skills**

If someone had to call the person who knows how to turn connections into success, your phone would be ringing.
- **Sales Expertise**: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience with hands-on, strategic selling success.
- **Versatile Sales Background**: Experience across multiple segments and comfortable working with corporate and private sector leaders.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for business.
- **Travel Ready**: Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally, as needed.
- **Education**: A degree in Business is preferred, and professional sales training or equivalent is a plus.
