Idealease Service Manager

Idealease, is seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual for the position of Service Manager. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and the ability to fit in with our team. Reporting directly to the general manager of Idealease, this job will be a great fit for you if you enjoy coaching and leading a team.
**Position Overview**:
As an Idealease Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a solid working relationships with dealer personnel and customers. Utilizing the technology to monitor fleet performance, troubleshooting, repairing product failures in the field.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Develops and maintains effective communications and relationships with customers.
- Develops and oversees warranty policy and administration to ensure maximum warranty cost recovery as well as managing running costs to business plan goals.
- Collaborates with the Idealease GM, to create, monitor and implement the scheduling plan to effectively manage workload, support business objectives and maximize productivity.
- Seeks opportunities where the Company has the potential to achieve relative competitive advantage.
- Develop, Implement, and manage a Preventive Maintenance program that results in PM currency of 95% or greater.
- Compare monthly financial results against the Business Plan and initiate any corrective action as necessary
- Prepares and maintains cost down analysis report for major corporate accounts as requested, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Generates high level reports along with custom reporting for clients.
- Assists clients with interpreting repair descriptions on service provider invoices and work orders.
- Develop, implement and promote service PM training
- Attend Idealease Best Practice meetings as well as participate annually in the President's Club.
- Work in compliance with the provision of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), regulations, and internal health and safety policies and procedures
**Education and Experience**:
- At least 5 years of experience working as dealership technician
- Licensed 310T Truck and Coach Technician
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a supervisor or manager
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong oral and writing capabilities; ability to clearly communicate compelling messages
- Ability to collect, compile, and analyze information and data
- Establish and maintain working relationships
- Must possess a high-level of honesty, integrity, and ethics
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to travel, as necessary

**Working Conditions**
The Idealease Service Manager will work at a desk in an office which is situated in the Service Department area. He/she may be exposed to noise, vibration, paint, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. He/she will move about the service area to work with the Service Advisors, Technicians, and will crawl under vehicles and get in and out of vehicles to inspect work completed.
