We are a CSWU Local 1611 company that provides Traffic Control services across Vancouver Island to large and small General Contractors, BC Hydro, FortisBC, and local municipalities among others. With offices in Victoria, Nanaimo and Courtenay, we also provide services to all asphalt paving and sealcoat projects through our affiliation with OK Industries.
- We are looking for Traffic Control Persons & Lane Closure Technicians. Experience is preferred but not required. _
- Qualifications & Requirements_
- _Valid BCCSA Traffic Control Person certificate or willing to take a 2 day course for it._
- Duties and responsibilities_
- _Able to work flexible hours and on-call shifts._
- _Ability to listen to and communicate specific instructions clearly, firmly under pressure while remaining professional._
- _Physically able to fulfill job requirements and work long hours outdoors in all kinds of weather._
- _Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and takedown of signage at the job site_
- _Ensure the accurate set up of lanes that flow and provide safety to motorists and personal at the job site._

/Part-time available

**Salary**: Hourly rates as per union agreement. Typical range $45K - $90K per year.

Premium Pay: Overtime & Double time paid daily & on weekends/stats as per C.B.A.

Vacation & Statutory Holiday Pay: 10% paid bi-weekly in addition to the hourly rate.
