**Position**: **Entry Level Service Technician with ability to support the Shipper/Receiver area**

**Career Summary**

BCS is a local manufacturing company in based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is looking for an **Entry Level**

70% of your time performing service and approximately 30% of your time performing Shipping/Receiver.

The Entry Level Service Technician with ability to support the Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for developing manufacturing, repair, cleaning and diagnostic electronics equipment and computing devices.

As well the role involves the timely processing of all incoming and outgoing items, boxing items, confirms that materials received are as ordered and routes incoming and outgoing, and support the warehouse duties.

The company will provide training in all aspects of your role. Entry Level Service Technician with ability to support the Shipper/Receiver area will work closely with the Production manager and other cross
- functional teams to make recommendations for product and process improvements to help support and propagate a continuous improvement mentality.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Essential Functions for this role are**:
Be motivated, well organized, punctual, respectful, honest, and a fast learner.

Use of hand and power tools.

Eye-hand coordination.

Mechanical and electrical assemblies

Troubleshoot equipment (Network devices, wireless, computers and electronics devices).

Cleaning and repair electronics devices and equipment.

Operate forklift.

Ability to lift to 75lbs continuously.

Clean and maintain a safe work area.

Mechanic, repair experience.

Read diagrams, schematic drawings, engineering specifications and service manuals to determine work procedures.

Package/Pick product for shipping.

Load/Unload product for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Receiving of product with 100% accuracy.

**Work Conditions**
- Full Time, permanent Position
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

- Frequent moving people and mechanical parts.
- Frequent exposure to caustic airborne particles.
- Unpacking of boxes/packages may result in cuts and scrapes especially to hands and fingers.
- Pushing of waste bins and carts may lead to strains.
- Exposure to chemicals - hazards related to toxic materials received, stored, and transferred to waste companies. Activities also related to exhaust fumes from vehicles through dock doors.
- Vehicle operation hazards associated with moving equipment and having to maneuver in all season conditions.
- Warehousing area can become busy in which the incumbent will have to perform quick turnarounds which may lead to stress.

**Qualifications, Education**

Science technology, Electromechanical or similar. This individual will also be mechanically & electrically inclined with strong analytical skills, and intermediate computer knowledge.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
