**Customer Service and Sales at ABC Printing** **The Position** This Customer Service and Sales role is a complimentary position at ABC Printing & Signs with a primary focus on signs and wide format products. It was created in response to volume of work and changing roles. This individual will report to the senior sales manager. Hours will be full time (up to 36 hours), Monday to Friday. Starting wage $20/hr with benefit package available upon completion of 3 month probation period. **PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Applicants without applicable skills and experience in the "Key Responsibilities" area will not be considered.** - Must be based within easy commuting distance of Courtenay - Must have experience in Customer Service and demonstrate good communication skills. - This is a client-facing position, in an often fast-paced and multi-tasking environment. Must be able to be the first line interface with customers in this position. - Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and deal with multiple people simultaneously. - Administrative duties are integral, must be able to take on responsibilities in filling out forms and documents, invoicing and filing. **Key Responsibilities** in the **Wide Format/Signs** area will include: - Immediately identifying whether to assist or pass to a different department CSR for assistance or quoting. - Helping clients to understand the range of products available and which ones are possibly most suitable. - Making suggestions for alternative or additional products where appropriate. - Quoting some jobs from standard price lists, and securing the sale. - Creating work orders as needed. - Effectively communicating with production staff to see product through to accurate completion - Invoicing and filing on a regular basis. - Maintaining excellent relationships with customers past, present, and prospective - You are **fast learning** to get up to speed with our products, services, and processes - Working knowledge of invoicing and or ERP software is a definite asset. - You have **great attention to detail**and take a pride in getting things right and meeting deadlines - You are able to sketch ideas out on paper - you don’t need to be an artist - You genuinely love working with people and finding solutions for them - You are patient, calm and assertive when needed - You are able to work autonomously - You have good typing skills, including grammar and spelling, and are comfortable on a computer Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
