**Duties**
- Coordinate and supervise farm plant maintenance workers, including scheduling, training and team supervision.
- Supervise general farm workers.
- Work with the maintenance manager to create and manage the maintenance budget.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
- Operate and maintain farm/plant machinery and equipment.
- Prioritize the maintenance and repairs of company equipment and machinery.
- Maintain work orders and logs.
- Monitor parts inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Conduct inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Assist the maintenance manager in the hiring process for maintenance employees.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promptly report safety concerns to the manager.
- Equipment troubleshooting, weekend maintenance calls, fabrication.
- Perform general farm duties as requested.

**Qualification**
- Knowledge of farming practices, tools, and equipment.
- Proficient in the use of farm tools and equipment (tractor, harvester, forklift).
- Experience in performing farm plant equipment maintenance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a vegetable farm.
- Five years experience in a leadership role as a team leader.
- Fluent in English, Spanish skills an asset.
- Able to use computer, Word, and Excel.

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities**
- Fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Physically demanding, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Attention to detail.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Large workload.
- Noisy working conditions.
- Overtime may be required.

**Term of employment**: Full-time, permanent. Hours of work per week: 9 hours/day, Monday to Friday. Required to work on the weekends and overtime.

**Hourly rate**:startingfrom $27/hour.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00-$27.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week
