We are artisans, crafting wines in one of the smallest wine regions in the world, working to define the Okanagan and put our region on the world stage.
As the Equipment Foreman, your role is to ensure Tractor Operators are set up to succeed at their task. This means ensuring all preventative maintenance is followed, issues are communicated with the Vineyard Manager and ACD in a timely manner, and the training is kept up to date. They are also responsible for ensuring machinery is located or transported to the necessary work site.
Accountabilities & Impact:
- Ensure all machinery is in good working condition and preventative maintenance is followed daily.
- Communicate all issues with ACD immediately.
- Ensure the efficient operating of all machinery.
- Facilitate the transportation of machinery.
- Communicate with the Crew Foreman about tractor activity.
- Work with the Vineyard Manager in planning and organization of machinery.
Skills & Experiences Needed:
- Proficient in several types of machinery
- Experience as a Crew Foreman is an asset
- Plan, organize and monitor multiple Tractor Operators daily
- Communicate clearly.
- Understand safe working conditions and follow a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Heavy trailer endorsement is an asset
- Intermediate Computer skills; MS Office, Suite, Word, Excel
- Team Player
- Valid BC Driver's License
