Outback is a small, rapidly expanding custom shop in Maple Ridge. We specialize in stainless/ steel and aluminum fabricating and take great pride in craftsmanship and producing high quality products. We do work with boat, custom vehicle, movie, agriculture, municipality and hobbyist industries. Our wide range of custom projects means life rarely gets boring allowing you the chance to build skills in all areas of fabrication. Due to our varied essential services customer base we have a large volume of work lined up and we are growing rapidly.

**Requirements**:

- Punctuality and reliability are essential
- Must be able to take instructions
- Must be self-Motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Located within commuting distance of Maple Ridge, BC
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work in Maple Ridge, BC
- Must be able to work occasional evenings/Saturdays for overtime as required by work load
- Must be able to read and understand working drawings
- A positive attitude and acute attention to detail are imperative
- _4 years+_ welding / fabricating experience preferred
- Must have aluminum welding experience
- Trade certifications required

Physical requirements;
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit.
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull and reach above and below waist
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 to 50lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50lbs with assistance.
