**Metal Fabricator Apprentice Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and materials required for fabrication.
- Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and machinery such as plasma cutters and machining tools to fabricate metal components.
- Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move heavy materials around the worksite.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and processes is essential.
- Experience using calipers, hand tools, plasma cutting equipment, and machining tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement within the fabrication process is encouraged.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $24.77-$49.54 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
