Craneium Inc, a designer of large and small overhead crane refurbishments and custom lifting equipment has an immediate requirement for a draftsperson with experience drafting mechanical, structural and some electrical components. The majority of the work will be in Autocad 2D, but 3D drawing experience with Solidworks is a requirement as well.

The role will require occasional visits to customer job sites throughout Western Canada to take dimensions of existing equipment and convert those measurements to Cadd drawings, or to create 3D models in Solidworks.

The role includes an important Quality Control and Assurance component, ensuring that machined and fabricated components and equipment match the project drawings issued to local fabricators and machine shops. Performing QA Inspections and documenting the inspection results at those shops will be part of the role.

Position is salaried and includes a company benefit plan, and a potential for overtime pay when work levels require it.

The position requires excellent MS Office skills as well, with a high proficiency in spoken and written English. A clean driver's license is mandatory, in order to drive company vehicles to supplier shops and customer sites.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
