Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Receive, inspect, and organize raw materials for production, ensuring accurate documentation and labeling.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections of materials for damage or defects, reporting any issues to the Shop Managers.
- Collaborate with production teams to supply materials as needed.
- Safely transport materials and handle products, including manual lifting, stacking, loading, and unloading using designated equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Adhere to workplace health and safety policies (WHMIS, OH&S, WCB, and Company procedures).
- Read and interpret work orders.
- Provide support to the team in order fulfillment, maintaining shop cleanliness, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Any additional tasks deemed necessary by the employer.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience as a Material Handler in a manufacturing setting, preferably in metal fabrication.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting of 50 lbs without assistance (up to approximately 50+ pounds).
- Valid Forklift certification and familiarity with material handling equipment.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to various positions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skill
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to perform any tasks deemed necessary by the employer
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
