As an Accounting Analyst, you’ll report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and will be part of the Finance team of Kenny U-Pull.
- Oversee various accounting functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Keep the work-in-progress assets (equipment & projects) records up to date, notably by collaborating with various teams (ex. construction, site operations, maintenance teams)
- Calculate asset depreciation & maintain the continuity schedules.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and sales tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Perform any ad hoc reporting assigned by your supervisor

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or finance
- 5 + years of experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of the assets accounting cycle and principles
- Experience with financial system migration.
- Proven leadership and critical thinking skills.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Excel & Outlook
- Knowledge of Maximo (IBM) and D365 (an asset), Odoo, and Power BI.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure and good organizational skills
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) necessary
