Looking for honest, trainable, dependable, punctual and dedicated people who are interested in starting a meaningful career at A-1 Blasting Mats/808274 Ontario Inc. Minimum Qualifications: Must have a good driving record and provide your driver's abstract within 10 days, ability to use an ipad and technology. The driver helps to support the daily activities of plant production and reports to the Plant Supervisor/Managers, perform daily circle check of the vehicle you are driving, filling out daily driver's log, driving a large truck to pickup tires and/or supplies, interacting with customers, finding new customers, loading and unloading tires from trucks/trailers, following directions and maps to collect tires on pickup routes. Other duties as assigned, that may involve assisting with plant production and general labour. All training is provided, and there will be a probationary period. Typical work schedule is 7:00am to 5:00pm, with occasional overtime. Must be in good physical shape, with lifting up to 50lbs, safety glasses and workplace safety practices are to be adhered to..The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and could change depending on the overall business objectives of the organizaton, a full job description is available. Drivers may be asked from time to time to work on the plant floor, when required. Submit your resume with education, training and work experience as a driver.
