**Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this fulfilling role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals with varying needs, including those with disabilities, dementia, and other health challenges. Your support will enhance their quality of life and promote independence in their daily activities. This position requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Assist clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain cleanliness in the living spaces of clients, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in nursing homes, hospice care, or home care settings to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or patient care is preferred, particularly in settings such as nursing homes or hospice care.
- Familiarity with dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A clean background check is necessary for this position.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
