**Operations Supervisor**
- Join the CLS Catering Services Team CLS Catering Services Ltd. is a joint venture of LSG Sky Chefs and Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd., a leader in airline catering and a provider of integrated services solutions. These include catering, buy-on-board, in-flight equipment logistics, consulting and lounge services. The company’s extensive know-how in culinary excellence and logistics has led to its’ successful entry in adjacent markets, such as train services and retail. LSG Sky Chefs produced 244 million meals at 140 locations in 40 countries. CLS operates from Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto airports and has been an industry leader in Canada for over 20 years._

**Position Overview**:Reporting to the Lead Operations Supervisor, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for developing and executing daily operational plans to meet customers’ requirements while ensuring the quality, safety, and productivity of their areas of responsibility.
- Lead teams towards achieving goals related to Health and Safety, Quality, and Productivity
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure on-time delivery according to Master Production Schedule
- Review processes and implement process improvements through Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Develop, implement and maintain training activities
- Monitor the flight loading and off-loading activities to ensure they are performed according to schedule
- Manage assembly processes optimize to optimal food cost control
- Conduct internal audits as required to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Project work as assigned by the Production Manager
- Ensure adherence to company policies regarding safety, security, and quality regulations
- Manage direct labour hours according to budget
- Create labour schedules utilizing demand based scheduling
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Lean Manufacturing experience an asset
- Good problem solving skills
- Must be able to supervise workforce including; coaching, directing and motivating
- Motivated self-starter with good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Process oriented with good organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent customer relations skills
