The Northern Alberta YMCA is looking for an experienced human services professional to work as an overall support to the Community Housing & Initiatives program. The Housing Support Worker will demonstrate strong communication and accuracy skills. They will work with staff, external providers and participants to ensure efficiency of program services.

**Position Res**
**ponsibilities**
- Comply with funder mandates for participation and promotion requirements.
- Collect information to confirm eligibility and complete participant intake and/or assessment to inform ongoing participant supports.
- Perform case management as per Standards of Practice guidelines and funder mandates.
- Liaise and advocate with community resources, funder, and landlords for participant support, maintain knowledge of relevant services and community resources related to the Social Determinants of Health.
- Support participants and their natural supports within YMCA guidelines and adhere to the contracted performance outcomes.
- Engage with community agencies, and other organizations to maximize services and resources to participants
- Complete all administrative tasks including but not limited to; data entry and maintaining participant files with YMCA guidelines accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work within an approved budget.
- Collect data, including outcomes, to inform and contribute to the development of funder and YMCA reports.

**What You’ll Need for This Job**
- University Degree in Human Services field or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience working directly with families with multiple risk factors
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Experience working both in a team environment and working remotely.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Suicide Intervention Certification are preferred
- Certifications: Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector and Child Intervention/Enhanced Security check
