Telemarketing Associate

Telemarketing Associate - North York, ONTARIO Part-Time, Salary: $17.00 /hour

**Position Purpose**:

An RBC Dominion Securities branch located in North York, ON is looking for a Part-Time Telemarketing Associate to join the team on a contract basis, who will work along side an Investment Advisor with the goal of building business. As a Telemarketing Associate, you will be responsible for proactively contacting potential clients and introducing the Investment Advisor's services. You will also be expected to work with staff in preparing and sending out mailings and information packages. This role is ideal for an individual who is interested in learning about the financial industry.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Initial cold calls from a list of prospective clients
- Follow up calls to potential clients
- Hourly wage + Bonus

The position will not include:

- Advising clients on or selling investment products

**Knowledge/Experience**:

- Phone/ Telemarketing experience require. Please be an enthusiastic person and self motivated with an interest in Financial Services and Wealth Management
- Organizational skills with particular emphasis on excel worksheets to sort and track leads
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
- Ability to make proactive telephone calls and introduce new services
- Self confidence and demonstrated ability to persuade
- Strong coordination skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent customer service attitude/interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently with little supervision

**Work Hours**:15+ hours per week PART-TIME
