Next Sales and Marketing is a Halifax, Nova Scotia based agency that represents the industry’s leading electrical manufacturers and their products throughout Atlantic Canada.

Our focus is on providing solutions for our customers by representing first in class electrical products from our innovative manufacturers. We build a sales channel for electrical products by creating a demand through our customer network of Architects, Interior Designers, Home Builders, Electrical Engineers, Distributors, Contractors, Business owners & Developers.

Next Sales and Marketing Inc is a member of CEMRA (Canadian Electrical Manufacturers Representative Association) and Electro-federation Canada.

**Responsibilities**
- Review technical drawings & specifications of electrical and lighting jobs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing customer telephone and written correspondence in a courteous, timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with our internal specification rep to assist in obtaining specifier approvals.
- Use our CRM/Quotations software to prepare quotations to customers.
- Diligent follow up of all opportunities and quotations
- Preparation of approval drawings with distributors and processing revisions.
- Coordinating purchase orders and align expectations and timelines with our manufacturer partnersand distributors.
- Communicate shipping & tracking information.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with our suppliers and distribution partners.
- Attend educational opportunities in both product knowledge and career skills training.
- Valid driver’s license, Passport and willing to travel for manufacturer training or tradeshows when required.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Be willing to learn, adapt, team player, and have fun.
- Technical degree or secondary education preferred.
- Lighting and electrical knowledge is an asset
- Coordinate project closing detail with multiple projects and quotations concurrently.
- Dependable, and a great attitude is a must.
- Diligent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
