**Summary**
As a QC Inspector, you will play a crucial role in upholding RHK's integrity by ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. With a keen eye for detail and unwavering attention to detail, they will work closely with the QHSE Manager to conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, parts, and finished products.
**Job Responsibilities & Duties**
- Perform dimensional inspections on incoming and in-process parts from machining, welding, heat treating, and other suppliers to confirm conformance to engineering drawings and RHK documentation requirements.
- Work closely with the QHSE Manager to develop and execute quality control procedures and processes.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control measures, identifying areas for enhancement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Expedite daily production output by assuring the timely flow of all quality control checks and corrections.
- Report inspection findings in computerized systems used to monitor inspection activities, non-conformances, and other QMS activities.
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality-related issues promptly and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in the investigation and analysis of customer complaints or concerns, identifying root causes and taking appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Complete customer documentation packages in accordance with company procedures and customer specifications for each order
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of inspection results, ensuring traceability and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in internal and external ISO 9001 audits, to assess compliance with quality management systems.
- Interact with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Service departments to meet internal and external customer needs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality control and assurance.
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma required; additional technical education or certifications in hydraulics, quality control, or related fields are preferred.
- 2+ years working in QA or QC preferably in a hydraulics or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and testing equipment such as calipers, gauges and micrometers.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-identification and problem-resolution skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, capable multi-tasker, flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant quality control standards, such as ISO 9001.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Adherence to the safety program and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
**Working Environment**
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, mechanical parts, and vibration.
- Noise level in the work environment can be loud.
- This position is active, requires standing, walking, bending, sitting.
- May be required to infrequently move items 10 lbs up to 50 lbs.
**Hours**: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
**Compensation**: $25- $35/ hr.
