Role:
The General Labour/Production team member plays a primary role in the overall manufacturing process to achieve a high level of productivity within the company. This role is responsible to support activities on the manufacturing floor and efficiently handle and organize all incoming and outgoing materials and products.

This role is responsible for the daily activities to maintain a high degree of quality and ensure on time delivery.

**Responsibilities**:
**General Labour**
- Receive, verify and unload incoming materials
- Organize material inventory according to production planning
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized shop floor space
- Painting dies
- Shipping and receiving
- Pickup and deliveries using company vehicles
- Maintain industrial vehicles and material handling equipment in a safe and good working condition
- Drive industrial vehicles to transfer materials
- Load and unload material, tooling and components to and from trailers
- Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities
- Perform the packing of finished product
- Assist manufacturing activities as required
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Assist with keeping a clean and safe working environment
- Support Tool Room or Operations Manager with special projects and workflow improvements, as required

**Production**
- Load raw material bundles at the start of the line
- Self-Inspect quality of product and identify any issues regarding non-conforming product
- Manually inspect, verify and pack product into bins, racks or other container types
- Accurately fill in batch records (serial numbers) according to work instructions for traceability
- Communicate with and support other team members to ensure continuous production at high-quality levels with mínimal waste
- Regularly inspect and perform good housekeeping of work environment

Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:

- Detail oriented individual who understands the concept and importance of quality
- Able to lift with regularity up to 50 lbs
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success in continuous improvement
- Lean manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherence
- Multi-tasking and the ability to handle the unexpected
- ISO9001:2015 awareness and adherence
- 2 positions available: afternoon shift Mon-Thurs 3:30pm-2:00am
- Starting salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour plus $1.00 afternoon shift premium

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
