Traxxon Rock Drills, established in 1963, has a rich legacy in the drilling equipment industry. **Role**:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and delivering a positive customer experience. You will build relationships with customers, identify their equipment needs, and offer tailored solutions from our extensive product lineup. You'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and representing the Traxxon brand to a diverse range of clients in the construction and drilling industries.
This is a full-time Sales role based in Surrey, BC. The Salesperson will be responsible for promoting and selling drilling equipment, parts, and services, maintaining relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets through effective communication and negotiation.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand customer needs and recommend the best equipment solutions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through strategic planning and account management.
- Stay informed about industry trends and product developments.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support overall company success.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates.
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients.
- Seek out and capitalize on new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and lead generation.
- Represent Traxxon at trade shows and industry events.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to sell.
- Experience with blast hole and production drilling is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to understand and present technical or specialized products effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-orientated, and able to work independently.
- Experience with CRM software is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and customer personnel (president to operator)
- Valid Driver’s Licence (required)
- Must be available to travel up to 60-70% of the month.
