Join a team that empowers you to live up to your potential so that you can feel part of something bigger and make a difference in the lives of others. **The Opportunity** - Employment Type: - Permanent Part Time 0.64 FTE - Hours of Work: - Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 0830 to 1530 Thursday: 0830 to 1415 - Wages: - $21.37 to $29.97 You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and custodial duties as assigned by the Site Manager including performing maintenance operations for exterior and interior of facility. Duties will also include major mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry. You are also responsible for the appearance of the property and the safety and convenience of the residents at all times. Applicants must be available for on-call duty. A 4th class power engineering certificate or Builders Operations "A" Certificate or equivalent is preferred. A minimum of three years experience in a commercial or institutional setting or a combination of education and related experience. You must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to do heavy lifting. Previous experience working in long-term health care facilities is an asset.
