The Warehouse Operations Managers are responsible for all aspects of their assigned department operations as well as the development of their people.

**a day in the life**: what you’ll do

With the leadership and support of the Distribution Centre Manager, the Warehouse Operations Manager builds capabilities within their teams to execute the overall DC strategy and achieve results for their department(s) today and tomorrow. They work cross-functionally with key partners in our Store Support Centres and Retail Operations to effectively achieve or exceed goals and produce outcomes in line with the company vision. The leaders we seek for these roles emanate the lululemon culture and inspire others to create possibilities that otherwise wouldn't exist. They are a leading example of self-development to those around them and have a certain affinity for the sweatlife. You can also find the Warehouse Operations Manager present on the floor encouraging and energizing their team.
- Manages a team of 50+ people
- Leads department operations to meet specific company SLAs (service level agreements)
- Leads strategic projects and assignments as required, under the direction of the DC Manager and/or General Manager
- Effectively manages their budget with full accountability for operational labor and supply costs on a weekly and monthly basis
- Acts as a coach to their team playing a hands on roll in their development to build their talent pipeline. They do this by actively developing their team through vision and goals, coaching and feedback
- Engages in and at times, leads training, team building, meetings and personal development
- Accountable for driving DC Safety Program and maintaining a healthy work environment
- Manages employee performance including but not limited to UPH, attendance, vacation, employee separations, annual review, merit process, and documentation

qualifications
- 5-8 years of leadership experience in warehouse environment
- 4-year college degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and high level of understanding of Warehouse Management System
- Ability to understand and implement lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to lead and maintain a safe work environment
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to obtain a powered industrial truck (PIT) operator certification depending on business needs
- Flexible and adaptable with schedule which includes evenings and working required holidays and weekends
- WCBC compliance requires steel toe boots and high visibility vest to work in the facility
